While designed to complement the VELOC drum transport system, the Cymbal Bag features its own "snap-on" wheels and telescoping handle to make it easy to move from gig to gig. The unique freestanding format and individual pockets fan out when opened makes setup and breakdown that much easier, as it allows access to all cymbals quickly and efficiently. Each pocket has felt dividers to keep cymbals from scratching or clanging together. It even has handy slots to hold 2 pairs of sticks!
Its unique hybrid construction features a hard molded ABS-Polycarbonate shell and flexible yet robust front panel. The telescoping handle can be removed to allow the bag to attach to the VELOC cart. All pockets are padded and lined with soft, non-abrasive fabric. Zippers lock down with the built-in TSA combination lock, and the bag features Gruv Gear's exclusive Global Recovery Tag feature that let's airport personnel or any traveler easily report your missing bag when found, sending you an SMS message or email of its location for added peace of mind.

How many cymbals can fit inside?
Depending on the size and shape of the bell (center bump) on the cymbals, the VELOC cymbal bags can accommodate anywhere from 10-14 cymbals. Each zippered pocket comes with a felt divider to help keep cymbals from clanging and scratching during transport. We don't recommend to overload the bag that prevents the lid from closing flat, or adding stress to the zippers.
What are the sizes of each pocket?
The 22" model has the following padded zippered pockets with dividers inside: 10", 12", 15", 19", 22" - The 24" model add a 24" pocket.
What's the difference between the VELOC bags and a hard case?
VELOC bags have a hard ABS/PC shell on the bottom to accommodate the hardware needed to attach them to the VELOC magnetic cart, while adding amazing impact protection. The soft fabric and thick foam padding cushions the drums while making it possible fold them down when empty, which isn't not possible with hard cases.

What happens after the first year of having the Global Recovery Tag active? Can I renew?
